"You would have
thought I was giving them away for free!"
Anoop Majithia recalls the mob scene that
erupted in an Ottawa shopping mall one Sunday.
He came in carrying a pile of shirt-and-tie
sets to restock a Shirt Circuit kiosk. It
had unexpectedly run short of shirts.
The kiosk sold 178 shirt sets in five hours
that day - a company record. Most Shirt
Circuit kiosk sell about 30 sets a day.
"There was pandemonium!" says
the 31-year-old entrepreneur and company
president. "When I walked in and saw
all these people crowding around the kiosk
, I thought there was a medical emergency.
Then when the people noticed me bringing
in more shirts, they ran after me."
